(Boys 6 to 9 years old, Girls 5 to 8 years old)

The main objective when introducing a child to golf at this age is that they have FUN!

My teaching and our junior clinic programs here at Westchester are designed to introduce basic golf skills, specific athletic development skills, and appropriate golf knowledge. It is our goal during this stage for the coaching to be well structured, safe, positive, but most of all FUN!

Not only do we introduce basic golfing skills, but we have a series of games and tasks that are specifically designed to help the child develop the necessary skills required for good golf. Experts have taught us that if a child’s introduction to any game or activity is fun and enjoyable; their chances of developing advanced skill levels are greatly increased.
